Start with understanding.
Families may contact ZADEER about communication, everyday skills, attention, participation or developmental milestones. We discuss the concern and the next appropriate step, which may include qualified specialist assessment, therapy or referral. Service availability and practitioner qualifications are confirmed before booking.
Speech & language therapy
Discuss concerns around communication, understanding language, expressing needs or social communication. Assessment and any therapy plan must be provided by an appropriately qualified speech and language professional.
Occupational therapy
Discuss participation in everyday activities, play, motor skills and individual sensory needs. Goals and activities are agreed after an appropriate assessment by a qualified occupational therapist.
Autism / NDD support
For autistic children and children with other neurodevelopmental differences, planning should respect the individual child’s communication, participation, sensory preferences and wellbeing. Clinical assessment and diagnosis belong with appropriately qualified professionals. We do not promise a cure or a fixed developmental outcome.
ADHD and attention concerns
Attention or activity concerns need to be understood in context, with the family and relevant professionals. The next step may include a specialist assessment and support for everyday participation and routines. A play session alone does not diagnose ADHD.
Developmental delay and early support
Discuss concerns about movement, communication, learning through play or social participation. The team can help clarify which assessment or referral pathway is appropriate and how agreed support fits with the family’s wider care.
Before a specialist session
- Confirm the practitioner’s name, qualifications and current availability.
- Agree the purpose of the assessment or session and obtain guardian consent.
- Confirm session duration, current fees and whether it is part of a programme or charged separately.
- Ask how progress will be reviewed and when referral may be needed.
Working together
Specialist support sits alongside the ZADEER play and parenting model when appropriate; it does not replace necessary medical care. Bring relevant previous reports to the appointment rather than sending sensitive child records through a general website enquiry.
