ZADEER

Child health check-ups with a paediatrician.

In-person review of everyday health, development and “is this normal?” questions, with Dr. Din Amin Mazid, Paediatrician.

CHILD HEALTH · PAEDIATRICIAN · IN PERSON

Is this normal for my child’s age?

Late walking, a child who is always ill, a toddler who will not eat, sleep that never settles — most families carry a question like this for months because it does not feel “serious enough” for a hospital visit.

At ZADEER, a paediatrician looks at the question properly: the child is measured, examined and observed at play, and you leave knowing what is normal, what needs watching and what needs doing.

A development check-up

Sitting, walking, talking and play looked at against age — with a clear answer on what to watch and what to act on.

Illness that keeps coming back

Frequent coughs, colds, fevers or tummy upsets are reviewed as a pattern: what is common at this age and what needs further checks.

Eating, appetite and picky eating

Worries about how much or what your child eats, looked at together with growth, routine and screen time.

Sleep, bedwetting and toilet concerns

Common, often worrying, and usually helped by a practical plan once a medical cause has been considered.

A medical check before therapy or school

Hearing, vision and general health are considered first, so a therapy plan is not built on a missed medical cause.

Prescriptions and reports you want explained

Bring them. They are read with you in plain language, and your child’s ongoing care is respected.

What the visit looks like.

  1. Your concern, in your wordsWhat you have noticed, since when, and what has already been tried.
  2. Measurement and examinationHeight, weight and a careful examination — recorded so the next visit can be compared.
  3. A plain explanationWhat the doctor found and what it means for your child, without jargon.
  4. A clear next stepA home plan, a review date, a test, or a referral — including to Dr. Kabirul Alam or Dr. Ria Chakraborty within ZADEER when that is the right person.

Practical things families ask

  • Ages: from babies to teenagers.
  • Bring: the vaccination card, previous prescriptions and any reports.
  • This sits alongside your family doctor; it does not replace ongoing treatment.

Not for emergencies. High fever with drowsiness, difficulty breathing, fits, signs of dehydration or an injury need a hospital emergency department now — call 999 or go straight to the nearest hospital.

Start with your question.

Tell us what you have noticed. The team confirms your time, the fee and what to bring before you travel.

Why a doctor looks first

A missed medical reason — poor hearing, anaemia, frequent illness, poor sleep — can look like a behaviour or learning problem. When a paediatrician checks the child first, any therapy or programme that follows is built on the right foundation.

Working with your existing doctor

Many families already see a doctor. That care continues. We add a focused review, explain what we find in plain language, and give you something written that your own doctor can read.
